A potent combination of spot destroying friendly skin acids; Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Phytic Acid; interrupt the spot's development and stop acne forming in its tracks. Applied twice daily to areas of concerns, Breakout Clearing Gel reduces acne and breakouts and helps to soothe and tone the skin to prevent scarring using Niacinamide and Green Tea extract.

Key Ingredients:

Salicylic Acid

Naturally derived from willow bark tree, this BHA contains anti-microbial properties to powerfully exfoliate skin and removes acne-causing debris by unclogging pores. Salicylic acid can directly dissolve keratin plugs and regulate skin cells to fight acne and blemishes and reveal fresh, newer skin.

Monk’s Pepper

Naturally derived from chaste tree and fueled with potent medicinal properties, monk’s pepper, known to have anti-microbial benefits, also works as an astringent to help control oil production and prevent future breakouts.

Niacinamide

Also known as vitamin B3,niacinamide is essential to our body’s optimal health and function. A precursor of essential coenzymes in ATP production, vitamin B3 supplies energy to all cells and maintains their integrity. B3, in the form of niacinamide helps to reduce redness, unlike niacin or nicotinic acid which are known to cause redness. In skin, this water-soluble vitamin reduces inflammation, and helps visibly improve the appearance fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin surface.

Glycolic Acid

Naturally derived from sugar cane, this low-molecular-weight AHA penetrates quickly to detach dead skin cells ready to shed for more even texture – reducing visible signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

Phytic Acid

Naturally derived from nuts, seeds, grains, and beans, this exfoliating acid is a compound ether of inositol with chelating properties. This natural plant antioxidant helps clarify and brighten skin by exfoliating pore-clogging debris and blocking the entrance of iron and copper in the formation of melanin.

Citric Acid

Naturally derived from citrus fruits, this AHA is less acidic, but an efficient chelator that supports cell renewal while binding and extracting unbound heavy metals that can damage skin.

Green Tea

Derived from camellia sinensis leaves, this well-known antioxidant is made up of polyphenols called catechins. Catechins alleviate oxidative stress on cells, which reduces irritation and redness, making green tea extract the perfectly potent yet gentle ingredient, suitable for all skin types.

Retinol

Also known as pure vitamin A, retinol acts directly on skin cells by cell turnover and helps boost the natural production of collagen. It also prevents collagen breakdown which helps smooth fine lines & wrinkles. Retinol aids in clearing dead skin cells, oil and debris from pores, while decreasing oil production.
