Anthony Exfoliating + Cleansing Bar lands at TGC
Soaps are making a HUGE come-back. It wasn’t all that long ago that we associated soap bars with leaving us with dry, tight skin that, yes felt clean, but felt stripped of hydration and goodness. The last few years have seen some amazing bars being released (Mr Natty Shipwreck Soap, Germaine de Capuccini Purexpert Soap-Free Dermo Cleanser, Baxter of California Exfoliating Body Bar, to name but a few) and popularity is growing - rapidly. Back in 2010 when we first started-out, decent soap bars for men were almost non-existent but the ‘bar' has been officially raised.
The latest soap bar to hit our shiny shelves is Anthony’s Exfoliating + Cleansing Body Bar and it brings with it a new wave of soap-inspired cleansing/scrubbing performance. Formulated with Coconut Oil and Jojoba Spheres, this one hit wonder can be used on both the face and body to cleanse and exfoliate, and leaves a lovely silky finish on the skin post-use.
What does it smell like?
The first question everybody always asks! The Coconut Oil has been blended with Grapefruit and Cucumber Extracts and together they both give a soothing yet refreshing scent. It’s mildly citrusy, subtly refreshing and very inoffensive.
Insider tips for perfect execution:
Make sure the skin is thoroughly wet before taking to your soap.
Be gentle with it; rubbing too hard will redden the skin.
You can also use this soap bar on your face, but again be gentle.
In between uses store the soap somewhere dry and well-drained; if you leave it in water it will soften.
