Cologne One captures the freshness of a gin and tonic in a single, sparkling gesture: effervescent, bright, unmistakably clean. Juniper, lime, bergamot, mandarin, and a whisper of ginger create an immediate burst of crisp citrus freshness, softened by the cool neutrality of cucumber.

At its heart, iris, rose, and hedione provide a subtle structure that allows the vivid top notes to linger with transparency and ease. The dry down remains calm and minimalist, with Ambroxan, Iso E Super, and soft musk creating a smooth, understated finish.

Aside from the James Bond connection, this is a must-have for fans of proper wet-shaving. First, on the parabens: there are two in the forumla, but even with my sensitive skin they haven't caused irritation. Unless you're allergic or incredibly sensitive, you should be fine. Now, the cream: even less is needed than you'd expect. It's thicker and richer than Taylor's of Old Bond Street, though a little more work is needed to get the lather super silky. The scent is stunning- absolutely the Eucris blend of blackcurrant, oakmoss, and floral notes- and the performance is second-to-none. Gave me a very close shave even with mild blades. Great value for money in a larger tub than other makers, too. Treat yourself, get this. The fragrance lingers afterwards, so you're guaranteed to smell great.
