When it’s hot we dehydrate- simple, right? The skin is the first organ that the body starts to take moisture from and around the eyes is where you’ll notice it most. The Refinery formulated their Eye Gel with Hyaluronic Acid (aka. The Fountain of Youth) which packs in moisture and helps to stop your eyes having that ‘been sizzling on the beach all day’ look.

This is one of all time favourites. I have quite fine hair, the barber often says it feels like baby’s hair. Sachajuan Salt Spray gives it a bit crunch and adds some texture which then makes it easier to style. I like to sport a totally matte finish so during sunny days my hair goes 'Sachajuan solo’, I quite literally just use this to give it a bit of shape and still allow it to move. During the evenings I team Ocean Mist up with Baxter of California Clay Pomade.

This is only the second SPF formula I’ve come across that gives a matte finish on the skin (the other being Heliocare Oil-Free Dry Touch Gel) and is waterproof to boot! It gives both UVA and UVB protection and is also sweat resistant., it’s basically everything I look for in a modern men’s SPF preparation.

As I’m entering my mid-30’s I’m starting to become very aware of how the sun affects my skin, which also means that I try to stay out of the as much as possible. That said, who doesn’t like a healthy glow on their face? 66°30 Radiance Cycle is my go-to self tanning lotion, mainly because it looks completely natural and builds really gradually. The pigment carried in Radiance Cycle is brown, not orange, and gives your face the ‘you look well’ look.

Keeping my face refreshed is top of my list of priorities in warmer weather. This little hero comes in a bottle which is really easy to carry -50ml- and is super energising. It contains Witch Hazel which helps to neutralise bacteria, Cucumber to soothe and cool, and Gylcerin to hydrate, you could say it’s like a breathe of fresh air in a bottle.
